Your personal data are processed in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Law No. 4624/2019 as applicable, and the recommendations, instructions, and decisions of the Data Protection Authority.

The VOLARE team takes appropriate measures to protect the personal data it processes and to ensure that the collection and processing of personal data is always carried out in accordance with the obligations imposed by the applicable legal framework, both by the VOLARE team itself and by our partners or other third parties who process personal data on our behalf.

Specifically, we collect the following personal data: first name, last name, and contact email to communicate with you about deliverables, publications, events, and updates related to the VOLARE project.
Personal data of individuals are processed only for the purposes for which they were collected and/or for legal and regulatory purposes, and are not further processed beyond the designated purpose.

For the use of such personal data, only essential staff members of the VOLARE team will have access to such personal data. In case of an audit of the project implementation documentation by representatives of the funding body, they will also be given access to the above data. Your personal data are processed exclusively within Greece and are therefore not transferred to countries outside the EU. You have the right to submit a request to us for:

• Access to your data
• Correction or deletion of your data
• Portability of your data
• Restriction of processing
• Objection to processing, including withdrawal of your consent. (This withdrawal does not affect processing based on consent given prior to the withdrawal.)

as well as to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the applicable data protection law.
